The Bodhisattva Guanyin attained Buddhahood countless eons ago, with the Dharma name \"Tathagata of the Righteous Dharma.\" Because she could not bear to see sentient beings suffer in the Saha World, she willingly descended from her Buddhahood to return to the Bodhisattva stage, to broadly enlighten all sentient beings. This great compassion, beyond the reach of ordinary people, is worthy of remembrance by sentient beings on her enlightenment day as we reflect on her boundless mercy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the occasion of the Enlighenment Day, special auspicious rituals are meticulously held. If you are facing life's crossroads, domestic disharmony, or inner turmoil, reciting scriptures, chanting mantras, and offering lamps around this day is particularly auspicious.
