The temple enshrines the God of Wealth and Prosperity, whose spirit originates from "Kan Ding Fu An Temple" in Baihe District, Tainan City.

The only place in Taiwan that enshrines the "Three Realms of Heaven, Earth, and Man" Land God ⛩️

Legend has it that the Fú Dé Lǐ God of Fǔ Ān Temple is not the well-known "Zhāng Fú dé," but rather "Zhào Guó fú," born on August 15th in the eighth year of Emperor Kangxi's reign. From a young age, he came from poverty and had no one to rely on. As an orphan, he was often mistreated. After growing up, he was hired to watch over a flock of sheep. During his watch, the sheep went missing, and he was severely beaten by his employer until he lost consciousness. The King of Hell investigated the cause of his death and specially granted him permission to return to the living realm.

After returning from the dead, I only wish for a simple livelihood, to do good and help the poor throughout my life, and benefit everyone. At the age of twenty-one, I will fall gravely ill and pass away. Heaven, moved by my kind heart, bestows upon me the title of "God of Fortune and Virtue" ✨

After becoming the Earth God, the Jiaqing Emperor visited Taiwan. Taiwan was rampant with bandits, plundering ferociously. Heaven issued a jade decree ordering the Earth God, Zhao Guofu, to display his divine might and protect the emperor's safety. ❤️

On the second day of the eighth lunar month in the year of the Water Tiger, we respectfully invited the incense. We then consecrated the spirit on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month, the birthday of the Earth God, to receive incense for ten thousand years. 🙏

Holding a "sycee" (ingot) in the left hand, leaning against a treasure chest, serves as a warning to the world that a person's lifelong wealth is predetermined by heaven. One should not covet more than what is destined, for a prosperous life is a result of the blessings and merits accumulated from virtuous deeds.
