⛩️ Temple Teachings | Goddess Jiutian Xuannü

The Nine Heavens Mysterious Goddess, also known as the "Mother of the Nine Heavens Dao," is legendary as a female general serving under the Queen Mother of the West of the Jade Pool. Transformed from a phoenix, she is well-versed in the art of war and is widely regarded among the common people as a symbol of "justice and guardianship."

The Golden Ring Jiutian Xuannü's spirit branch originates from Xieling Temple on Miaoli Xianshan. Located at an altitude of over 967 meters and requiring a climb of nearly 700 stairs to make a pilgrimage, it became famous for its "immortal water" that saved countless people suffering from malaria. With boundless mercy, the Golden Ring Jiutian Xuannü once saved believers from illnesses and calamities by "willingly sacrificing the base of her golden statue, scraping off the wooden powder to be used as a talisman," allowing believers to continue living peaceful and healthy lives to this day.

Where there is a will, even a mortal body can possess the confidence of an immortal!

The pilgrimage path often holds mystical arrangements. The abbot originally planned to visit Phoenix Mountain, but due to a sudden closure there caused by local conditions, and upon a council member's suggestion, he changed his destination to the Jiutian Xuannü Temple in Chunhua, Xianyang.

According to local lore and historical records, the Jiutian Xuannü enshrined here was "Daoist Nun Cao," an expert in medical principles who saved countless people from illness and suffering many years ago. After her ascension, the grateful populace built a temple to worship her, viewing her as a compassionate manifestation of the Goddess. This turning point is an encouragement from the Goddess: deities do not live only in myths, but also in every soul willing to practice compassion and save the world.
