The founding of the Six Holy Mothers originates from the abbot's pilgrimage around Taiwan on March 21, 111 [Republic of China calendar]. During his travels, he passed by the Tung Hai Lung Men Tian Sheng Temple in Taitung. He had a very pleasant conversation with the temple master and the staff. They accompanied him for the entire journey from Taitung city to Taichung Fu An Temple in Taimali, participating in the pilgrimage. In their conversations, they felt that faith needs to be expanded, and that aiding the world and saving people also requires strength from the East. Therefore, a spiritual deity was consecrated from the ancestral temple, Dong Hai Ma, and established in Jinhuan as the Six Mothers.
